STM-1 Optical to STM-1 Electrical Converter (19inch 1U Type)

The device enables interface conversion from STM-1 (ATM) electrical interface to STM-1 optical interface. It can realize the transmission of STM signals over SDH or the conversion of 155M SDH signals to optical signals. It is primarily used for interconnecting SDH equipment or ATM equipment with SDH interfaces, or for interconnecting other terminal devices with a 155.520Mbit/s interface.

● The device is based on proprietary intellectual property.

● It provides two types of loopback functions: remote loopback for the optical interface or local loopback for the optical interface.

● The electrical interface with a 75Ω impedance adopts CMI encoding.

● The rack-mounted device’s network management interface uses SNMP.

● Strict balancing and processing are applied to address signal attenuation and other issues that may arise from changes in cable or fiber optic cable lengths during actual operation, ensuring the overall system performance.

● The device offers optional power supply options, including AC 220V, DC -48V, and DC +24V, with no distinction between positive and negative polarity for the DC power source.
