This device provides one framed E1 interface and one Ethernet interface, capable of transmitting 10/100base-T Ethernet data over framed E1. It is a high-performance and self-learning Ethernet bridge. As an Ethernet extension device, this device utilizes existing networks (PDH/SDH/microwave, etc.) to provide E1 channels and achieve Ethernet interconnection between two ends at a lower cost. The device has a built-in loopback test function, providing convenience for engineering commissioning and daily maintenance.
● E1 supports any timeslot set, the rate is 64K-2048K;
● It can enable monitoring and control of the remote device, while OAM management data doesn’t occupy the user’s timeslot and save E1 bandwidth;
● It has the function of E1 interface loopback check, avoiding the device crashing because of interface loopback;
● It can differentiate between remote device power loss and E1 disconnection during signal loss;
● It can be configured to not send a LINK signal to the Ethernet interface when there is a fault in the E1 line;
● The Ethernet interface supports jumbo frames (2036 Bytes);
● 4-channel 10/100M Ethernet interface can isolate each other to realize communication independently;
● Ethernet interface supports 10/100M, half/full duplex auto-Negotiation, and AUTO-MDIX (auto-negotiation of crossover and straight-through connections);
● 2 clock modes are available: E1 master clock and E1 line slave clock;
● It has 3 loopback modes: E1 local loopback (ANA), Ethernet local loopback (DIG), and remote Ethernet loopback (REM);
● It has an internal Ethernet data monitoring auto-reset function to prevent device crashes;
● It enables local device to monitor the temperature and voltage of remote device;
● It supports both 120Ω/balanced and 75Ω/unbalanced impedance, without the need for additional configuration;
● Support SNMP Network Management.
