The 4-port RS485 isolated hub features 4 fully electrically isolated RS485 channels. Each RS485 channel on the hub has a 6kV lightning protection capability, optoelectric isolation, and an isolation voltage of up to 3kV. Additionally, each channel has an independent grounding, protecting devices on other RS485 buses in the event of damage to one bus. Each RS485 port can support a maximum of 128 nodes. The power port also possesses 6kV lightning protection.
The device has a built-in short-circuit circuit, data error detection, and isolation functionality. It incorporates common-mode inductance differential filtering and an FPGA digital filter to ensure reliable communication over long distances of up to 2,200 meters at a baud rate of 9600bps. It finds widespread application in complex industrial systems.
● The device is designed based on FPGA and features common-mode inductance differential filtering and FPGA digital filters. It can filter out glitches in the line and automatically generate precise RS485 transmit/receive switching enable signals based on the transmitted data.
● Each RS485 channel on the hub is equipped with a 6kV lightning protection capability and 3kV optoelectric isolation. The rs485 channels also have independent shielded ground interfaces and LED indicators. The communication signals are isolated using high-speed optocouplers, while the power supply adopts a 3kV DC-DC isolation voltage.
● The power supply ground is isolated from the ground of the No.1/2/3/4/5 RS485 channels, and the No.1/2/3/4/5 RS485 channels are mutually isolated with a 3kV electrical isolation. Even when directly connected to AC220V or AC380V voltage, it will not damage the isolation on the other end.
● The device has built-in circuit short-circuit detection and data error detection functionality. It can detect short circuits between RS485 lines A-B and identify receiving data errors (such as the longest continuous zero time exceeding 300bps when receiving data from faulty nodes). When an error is detected, the device automatically isolates the problematic line channel and indicates LED lights.
● It supports multi-node communication, with each RS485 channel accommodating 128 enhanced nodes. It can achieve a maximum transmission distance of 2200 meters (9600bps).
● The RS485 interface is equipped with three levels of lightning protection, meeting the GB/T17626.5 (IEC61000-4-5) standard for short-circuit current waveforms of 10/700μs and open-circuit peak output voltage of 6kV, with a standard internal resistance of 40 ohms.
● It supports a wide range of 9-70V DC power supply input, and the power interface also has a 6kV lightning protection capability. It provides overload protection and reverse connection protection, complying with industrial-grade electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
● With its strong lightning protection capabilities, the device can withstand lightning strikes, high voltage induction, and surges. It features a fanless design for efficient heat dissipation, reducing repair time, and supports rail-mounted installation.
● The device is designed to operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
