Modular Multi-service TDM over IP (Ethernet) Converter

The TDM over IP converter is mainly used for transmitting E1 signals over IP network. It allows operators and enterprises to seamlessly and reliably connect TDM equipment and user Ethernet over a standardized, low-cost wireless or wired Ethernet/IP infrastructure, without any impact on the quality of service.

TDM over IP is transparent to TDM signals, ensuring that any device with a physical E1 interface is seamlessly connected, such as PBX, mobile base stations, SS7 signaling devices, and voice mail systems. It can be used in IP-based communication systems such as LAN, WAN, MAN, and wireless networks.

This device has 2 10/100/1000M Ethernet ports, 1 100/1000M Ethernet optical port, and a console management interface. It can also accommodate E1 modules, voice modules, V.35 modules, and serial interface modules, with a maximum capacity of four fully-installed slots.

● Can transparently transmit both framed and unframed E1 (N*64K) signals over IP network, which complies with the relevant G.703 standards;

● The E1 clock recovery uses a unique clock algorithm technology, which ensures stable frequency restoration and low jitter and drift. Furthermore, the recovered clock’s jitter and drift conform to the G.823/G.824 and G.8261 recommendations;

● High transmission efficiency and low transmission latency. Ethernet packet length can be configured, and jumbo frames are supported. Additionally, the device supports VLAN settings;

● E1 link loss indication function;

● Local and remote E1 loopback functions, as well as local E1 enablement settings;

● High transmission efficiency, with up to 90% bandwidth utilization efficiency;

● Support WEB network management for online upgrade of local and remote device software and hardware;
