Overview

The dry contact closure over fiber converter provides 2-channel unidirectional Dry contact or 1-channel bidirectional Dry contact signals transmission over fiber optic. It solves the problems of electromagnetic interference, ground loop interference, and lightning damage, improves the reliability, security, and confidentiality of data communication. It can be widely used in various industrial control, process control, and traffic control fields, especially suitable for banks, power, and departments and systems with special requirements for electromagnetic interference environments.

Features

● The digital input/output interface supports two types of signal relays: dry contact relays that use electromagnetic contacts, and wet contact relays that use opto-MOS relays.

● It can support either 2 channels of unidirectional digital inputs or 1 channel of bidirectional digital input.

● It can automatically detect the status of the input digital signal, whether it is normally open or normally closed. The output digital signal will be in the same status as the input signal, which makes it convenient for engineering commissioning.

● It can maintain stable output digital signals for all other channels even when it is powered on or when there is no fiber optic cable plugged in, ensuring that they will not switch on or off randomly.

● Each channel of the device is equipped with indicator lights to show the status of the digital signal, whether it is on or off.

● The digital input interface is designed to meet the IEC61000-4-5 (10/700μS) standard for lightning protection, with a differential mode surge immunity of 6KV with a 2Ω impedance and a common mode surge immunity of 6KV with a 2Ω impedance.
