8GE Fiber Media Converter (Full Physical Isolation, 1+1 Fiber Backup)

This device can provide 8 independent and completely isolated wire-speed 1000M Ethernet channels in one optical direction (single fiber or dual fiber), and it provides a total bandwidth of 8*1000M in both directions. It is very suitable for building intranets and public information networks at the same time, and where 8 networks are required to be highly isolated. It is also especially suitable for occasions where fiber optic cable resources are particularly tight and many independent Ethernet channels are required. This device has 2 10G fiber interfaces to support 1+1 fiber backup.

The device is based on the Ethernet switching chip + FPGA solution, with remote OAM frame management function, supports Console network management/SNMP network management, and can also be interconnected with 4U plug-in card 1 optical 8 electrical physical isolation transceiver card with SNMP network management. It can be connected to SNMP software in order to manage the device.

● The device provides 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 10Gbps optical ports, and an optional Console network management port;

● Provide link aggregation channels for network switches, with a bidirectional bandwidth of 8*1000M, and 8 groups of GE network services transmitted by the same optical fiber line;

● Each Ethernet port has its own independent GE interface, real channel isolation, ensuring complete physical isolation of 8 groups of network services transmitted through the same optical fiber line;

● 2 10Gbps optical ports are the main optical fiber interface and backup optical fiber interface, with dual optical port backup function to ensure uninterrupted business;

● The Ethernet port supports auto-negotiation of speed and duplex mode, and it supports AUTO-MDIX (crossover and direct connection self-adaptation);

● It can realize remote network management function, with 4U card configuration, rack-mounted equipment network management interface adopts SNMP;

● The network management equipment has a power failure detection function, which can detect when the optical signal is lost, the peer device is powered off or the fiber is blocked;

● Support ultra-long frame transmission, fully compatible forwarding of various extended protocol data frames;

● The optical interface can be multi-mode dual fiber/single-mode dual fiber/single-mode single fiber three optical fiber transmission modes, SC/ST/FC/LC interface optional, different wavelength and luminous power and other optical interface configurations;

● Abundant working status indicators, which can easily and accurately understand the working status of equipment interfaces and links;

● Ethernet interface with three-level lightning protection, anti-radar to GB/T17626.5 (IEC61000-4-5) short-circuit current wave 8/20μs, open-circuit peak output voltage 6KV standard
