The device provides basic RS232 to RS485 conversion functionality using passive serial port power theft technology, making it ideal for use in compact spaces (52 x 31 x 16 mm). The internal interface of the converter features voltage regulation and electrostatic protection functions, ensuring strong anti-interference capabilities.
In cases where the RS232 port of the host device may not provide sufficient power to the converter, the converter may not work properly. In this situation, two wiring terminals are provided to connect a DC 5-9V regulated power supply to ensure the normal operation of the converter.
