The device is designed to provide USB to RS485 conversion with a function of 6KV lightning protection. It is powered by a USB port, eliminating the need for an external power supply. It features a unique and instantaneous automatic transmission and reception conversion technology, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility with all software applications. It incorporates a transmit/receive enable control, where the output remains in a high-impedance state during standby mode without data transmission, and supports multi-point communication.
Distinguishing itself from other similar low-cost products available in the market, the device offers the following notable features:

The USB interface offers protection against electrostatic discharge of up to ±15kV (air) and ±8kV (contact), as well as EFT protection of up to 40A (5/50ns) and lightning protection of up to 5A (8/20us).
● The RS485 interface is equipped with three-level lightning protection, meeting the GB/T17626.5 (IEC61000-4-5) standard. It can withstand a short-circuit current waveform of 10/700μs and an open-circuit peak output voltage of 6KV, with an internal resistance of 40Ω (instantaneous protection power >900,000W).
● The device also includes a 5V power output terminal (with 0.5A PTC protection) that activates to protect the device when operating above 0.7A.
● Operating temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.
● It has passed 100% burn-in testing.
